Thousands of meal sets and essential goods have been delivered to doctors and healthcare staff by C.P. Vietnam with the heartfelt wish to support the country's fight against the pandemic.

Vietnam is dealing with the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, causing upheaval in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces. With thousands of new cases every day, health workers across the country are doing their utmost to test and cure patients.

One of the largest husbandry and food processing companies in the country, C.P. Vietnam is looking to support this fight with donations of fresh food through the "Put our heart into food" campaign. Under the initiative, C.P. Vietnam is delivering 150,000 meal sets (valued at VND4.5 billion – $195,650) to hospitals, field hospitals, people in quarantine areas, and marginalized groups.

One of the largest husbandry and food processing companies in the country, C.P. Vietnam is looking to support this fight with donations of fresh food through the "Put our heart into food" campaign. Under the initiative, C.P. Vietnam is delivering 150,000 meal sets (valued at VND4.5 billion – $195,650) to hospitals, field hospitals, people in quarantine areas, and marginalized groups.

In Ho Chi Minh City, chefs and staff from two C.P. Vietnam restaurants – Greyhound and Chickita – prepare thousands of meals every day to deliver to Traditional Medicine Institute, Ho Chi Minh City's Center for Disease Control (HCDC), the delegation of Hanoi University of Public Health, Nhan Dan Gia Dinh Hospital, field hospitals, and 20 quarantine areas.

In Dong Nai province, "Put our heart into food" delivers 9,600 meals to 10 hospitals, and 10,000 more meals to 10 isolation areas.

C.P. Vietnam has also provided additional donations including microwave ovens, super-speed kettles, and fast food from its own brands where the need arose.

While thousands of people (including doctors, nurses, healthcare staff, and policemen) are working tirelessly to protect the country from the pandemic, C.P. Vietnam hopes its donations of fresh meals and food will convey the company's gratitude and heartfelt wish for Vietnam to defeat the coronavirus pandemic soon.
