Mondelez Kinh Do supports communities through product donation worth 5 billion VND in the Mid-Autumn Festival 2021

Ho Chi Minh City, September 2021 – As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, families across Vietnam look forward to reunion time, to give thanks and munch on some delectable mooncakes. Unfortunately, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival takes place in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, there are many doctors and nurses, frontliners, infected families, families in isolated areas, and disadvantaged children not able to enjoy a Mid-Autumn Festival as it should be.

Understanding the difficulties and accompanying the community in this period of joining hands to fight the pandemic, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, Mondelez Kinh Do gives out Kinh Do mooncake donation that worth 5 billion VND (222.000 USD) to frontliners and communities, bringing the total value of the company's contribution since the COVID-19 pandemic took place to 13 billion VND (570.000 USD).

Mondelez Kinh Do hopes that this kind gesture will give more motivation to the frontline forces, as well as encourage people to overcome difficulties in this period.

The medical frontliners in Hanoi receives Kinh Do Mid-Autumn gifts

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival, despite many difficulties in the context of strict social distancing, Mondelez Kinh Do joined forces with social organizations, including the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, the Ba Dinh Hanoi Red Cross, Binh Duong Children's Fund, Amcham Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Charity Association, Foodbank Vietnam... to directly present meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to frontline doctors, medical staff, reinforcements, and volunteers, together with children in shelters, children admitted to hospitals for Covid-19, infected households, disadvantaged families in quarantine areas.

Through delicious Kinh Do mooncakes sent to the community, Mondelez Kinh Do wishes to preserve the good values of Vietnamese's Mid-Autumn Festival even under the most challenging circumstances, to keep all the good Mid-Autumn Festival memories and stories of every family alive.
