Congratulations to Dow for being honoured in our winner list for two consecutive years, which means that they have shown an understanding of the linkages between business operations and society, and conducting business in a way that creates both long-term economic and social value.”

U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Ted Osius said at the award ceremony: “A year ago, I was here to present the AmCham CSR Recognition Award to Dow, and today I am delighted to congratulate Dow on its second consecutive recognition. I greatly appreciate Dow’s outstanding work in Vietnam, both in its contributions to the country’s economic growth and in its efforts to bring clean water to underserved communities. The Corporate Social Responsibility programs that American enterprises conduct in the communities where their employees live and work are remarkable instruments of public diplomacy, demonstrating American industry’s commitment to sustainable and responsible development here in Vietnam and the world over. As evidenced by this award, Dow continues to lead its peers by example, and I look forward to its continued good works.”

During its over two decades of operation in Vietnam, Dow has been a partner to the country’s progress and development and has always been committed to contributing to the country’s industrial growth for the long term. Today, Dow’s products are essential inputs to many downstream and supporting industries in Vietnam. As a key partner to Vietnam’s economic growth and prosperity, Dow Vietnam always endeavours to add value to most of the country’s advanced manufacturing industries that continue to create jobs and revenues for the local economy.
